Hare Krishna

[NOTE: This entry was originally posted as a comment by user Chris Johnson on 08/27/2008. This site has no knowledge of this issue and hasn't verified any of the claims.] Hare Krishna/ISKCON Domination on Wikipedia Hindu articles For some period time, I have experience a number of I.S.K.C.O.N/Hare Krishna devotee editors totally rewriting and re-editing many, many Hindu related articles on Wikipedia with either a subtle to overt I.S.K.C.O.N/Hare Krishna slant and flavor. I have notified, to no avail, Wikipedia about this several times concerning these I.S.K.C.O.N editors actions of bullying, intimidation and re-writing existing information with an I.S.K.C.O.N cult slant and flavor. There have been many, many times that it has gotten absolutely "down and dirty" with the combativeness between these I.S.K.C.O.N cult editors and myself, with administrators from Wikipedia having to mediate between us. Many of them, even after much warning and criticising, still put out-landish information and cult ideas that have never been acknowledged and accepted in any group or scholar in Hinduism before. I have also experienced I.S.K.C.O.N cult editors who bullied other editors by trying to maintaining a I.S.K.C.O.N cult stranglehold of information on certain articles like for instance, the "Vaishnava" article. I know a number of editors that have mentioned and dealt with the influence and "Vandalization" of the Hindu articles by these I.S.K.C.O.N editors. One cult editor has been told many, many times, that the word "Krishna" in the Rig Veda just means "black" and has nothing to do with Vishnu's avatara form...Krishna. And, this person, insists on putting this mis-information on to the Hindu articles. This same Cult editor, marred whole articles that it has taken others and myself many, many hours to correct his references and mis-information. Please check the discussion page on each article, and see what is the senario with that page. Please, when researching topics on Hinduism on Wikipedia, please remember that the information that you are reading might be marred with this Cult's agenda and beliefs. They are using Wikipedia as a platform to promote their Cult ideals. And, Wikipedia and non-I.S.K.C.O.N editors are not doing any thing about it and permitting this to happen. ***please read original article: ***And, what REAL hindus think about the philosophy of ISKCON/Hare Krishnas: Thank you so much Wikipedia Bias for existing, Sincerely, Chris Johnson
